The Top 3 Mindmap Programs

in business, freeware, General, Getting Things Done, Mac OSX, Productivity, Windows

Mindmap software has been in an evolution process for a great many years and all thanks to Tony Buzan for such an innovative, revolutionary and natural way of brainstorming. I say natural, as mindmapping really is brainstorming ideas in the way of thoughts behave - unordered and probably chaos based.

Macbook Pro and the TrackPad

in Mac OSX

I started off with the Macbook Pro and really disliking the Trackpad.

Don't get me wrong here. The Macbook Pro is one hot dang sexy unit. I think coming from a Windows system, I like my two button mouse, double-clicking where required as well as right-clicking. It seemed to me that the TrackPad was simply limiting in functionality.

Well, smack my tushy, how wrong can I be!!!

OSX has some really hidden secrets in it's Preferences and the Trackpad is one of them.

Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talking about :-
• As soon as the computer is turned on, check email
• Email program checks every 5 or 10 minutes
• Inbox emails start to pile up to an unmanageable number
• The email program is one of the main pieces of software in your day to day routine.

Well, that's all changed for me .....
